Sessions
Body Sounding Therapy™ is my personal blend of massage and energy
therapy. Combining skills from many modalities, I use my hands as a
‘sounding’ device to listen in to the body. Feeling for tissue pulls, muscle
tension, energy blockages, stored trauma and injury, I support the body in
orchestrating its own healing process. While the focus of my work is the
resolution of pain and regaining optimal health, resolving underlying issues is
the key to success.
Training Courses
I offer training for massage therapy CEU’s in Jin Shin Do® Bodymind
Acupressure ™ . The class is opened to non-professionals. I also teach
classes in energy awareness and Reiki. Look in the workshop menu for
course descriptions and class schedules.

Synthia Andrews has been in the world of wholisitic health for over 25 years. Her work has focused on the relief
of pain and the resolution of underlying mechanical, metabolic, emotional and/or traumatic causes. She has
recently expanded her scope of practice to include naturopathic medicine to assist people in their quest for
pain-free living .
Synthia maintaines a private practice and teaches classes and workshops. She was a faculty member at the
Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy from 1991 to 2005. She has co-authored three books and contributed
to journal articles. She currently teaches workshops at the Kripalu Yoga Institute and is an authorized teacher of
the Jin Shin Do® Foundation.
